7. How can I prevent my computer from booting when others are trying to log in?
ID Disk Protector Protector offers boot protection for your computer by allowing you to set a password for the boot process to start. To gain this protection, run the program and follow these steps: click the “+” sign in from of the name of your system provided in the main menu. A list with your physical drives will appear. Click the “Physical Drive” button and then the “Boot Lock” button. Introduce a password and then confirm it in the next box and press the OK button.

8. Can I protect just one partition out of many other partitions I have on my computer?
Yes, you can. If you would like to protect just one partition, and not the whole Physical Drive, click the “Physical Drive” button to see the list of the partitions available on your computer. Select the one you want to protect, press the “Lock” button and set a password. Then press OK.

To find out more about a partition on your computer, see the list of partitions available in the lower part of the main menu. Select the one you want to find more about, and press the “Properties” button to find capacity details, or the “Features” button to find feature details.
